Chhavi Bhalla

Chhavi Bhalla, the passionate Bollywood dancer and teacher. Originally from New Delhi, India, Chhavi moved to Reno seven years ago with her family. Chhavi has been a dancer all her life and has trained with renowned Bollywood and Indian cinema choreographers in India.  She has a deep love for Bollywood music and dance but after a few years of living in Reno, the void within her grew to another level from not getting the opportunity to dance and let my hair down to the upbeat universal Bollywood music. When the pandemic hit, she reconnected with her trainer via Zoom and reignited her passion for dancing. In collaboration with Yoga Pod Reno’s owner, Mike Fraley, Chhavi started teaching Bollywood workshops here in Reno, which eventually led to the creation of the FIRST EVER Bollywood dance social – Bollywood nights extravaganza at Black Rabbit Mead and at West Street Market to celebrate Indian culture and support NAMI.  Let’s experience the Magic of Bollywood together!
