Our Mission:

Healthy Performers Nevada is an organization comprised of dedicated medical professionals, performing artists, and performing arts educators with the common goal of improving the health care of the performing artist. Our mission is to work with and for the health of performing artists through education, research, networking, and a commitment to a deep understanding of the special needs associated with the performing arts.

History Of Healthy Performers NV:

The Heathy Performers NV formed a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2022 by a group of clinicians who had been involved with the medical care of performing artist. The seeds for this organization were sown in 2019 at the first Healthy Dancers NV Workshop in Reno, NV. As their interest in treating performing arts grew in Northern Nevada beyond dance to all performing artist the name was changed in 2021 to Healthy Performers NV. By formalizing their shared interest in this medical specialty, they founded Healthy Performers NV to provide resources, education, and research to the entire state of Nevada Performing Arts community.
