Dr. Carrie Cameron has always been fascinated with mixing the world of art with science, which is reflected in both her professional skills and demonstrated in the positive outcomes of her patients. The foundation of her clinical approach is the belief that the body is beautifully made and masterfully crafted to do amazing things. As a result of her passion for sports and dance medicine, she has a history of guiding athletes and dancers through an injury and back to personal peak performance. She utilizes treatment techniques across a multidisciplinary spectrum tailored to treat the person as a whole. These techniques include manual therapy, exercise prescription and bio-mechanics that not only help her patients reach their healthy living goals, but contribute to a foundation of sustainable performance. Her career has taken her to both coasts and across the country working with athletes, dancers and performers at all levels. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys the outdoors with her wonderful husband, Marshall and their son, William. She appreciates her daily run for both its physical and mental joys and fits in a 5-K or half marathon when she can.
Dr. Lindsay Branzel’s fascination with anatomy, physiology, performing arts and Pilates inspired her to be a physical therapist. She has been analyzing the physics and bio-mechanics of human movement for over 15 years. Her accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), comprehensive Pilates for Rehabilitation training and is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT). She continues to engage in continuing education to refine her manual therapy skills and expand her Pilates & physiotherapeutic repertoire, allowing her to engage with clients for rehab and performance enhancement. Lindsay was physical therapist and teacher to students and professional dancers at the Saint Francis Center for Sports Medicine in Walnut Creek, CA, alongside seasoned Dance Medicine and Sports Medicine physicians, physical therapists and Pilates teachers. She participated in dancer screenings and workshops for dance companies and schools in San Francisco and East Bay areas, including the San Francisco Ballet School and Diablo Ballet. Lindsay lives in Reno with her husband and two children. She enjoys playing outdoors, running, swimming, snow sports, Pilates, ballet, cooking, taking care of the family, spending time with friends, and helping people maximize their potential!
Dr. Luis Palacio is board certified in both Sports Medicine and Family Medicine. He has been treating athletes of all ages from amateur to professional, including Olympic level athletes, since 2005. Early in his career he had the opportunity to care for high level dancers and the Boston ballet.
As a Reno/Sparks resident since 2009, he is well aware of the lack of necessary resources for our dance community. With 3 children that have been involved in dance since age 4, Dr. Palacio is excited to be a part of Healthy Performers Nevada to help elevate the quality of care for our community performers and dancers.
Dr. Geneva Winters found her love of movement through growing up dancing both modern and ballet methods. It was that passion for movement and the body that led her to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. She attended Goucher College and received her Bachelor of Art in Dance Science in 2015. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2018. Geneva is passionate about using her experience in dance to work with performers on injury prevention and recovering from injuries. She is excited to be a part of Healthy Performers to help increase access to performing arts medicine in Nevada.
Gail A. Bradley, RD, LD, received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition with a minor in Athletic Training from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1997 and completed her Dietetic Internship at Washoe Medical Center in Reno, Nevada in 1998. As President of Essential Nutrition, LLC her mission is to encourage others to become active participants in their own health care empowering them to consider every aspect of their health, diet and overall lifestyle to make the best choices to increase healing and improve their health, well –being and live their life to the fullest. She is an active member of the Dietitians in Integrated and Functional Medicine, Sports and Cardiovascular Nutrition and Nutrition Support which are Diagnostic Practice Groups with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Adam Cates has built a career in the performing arts as an educator, creative, and producer. He is the Education & Development Manager at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts in Reno where he also produces Pioneer Center Youth Programs. Adam holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts / BA in Theatre; has held faculty positions at Pace University (commercial dance), Marymount Manhattan College (theatre), Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, and Rosie O’Donnell’s Theater Kids; and has been a guest artist for institutions across the USA, Canada, and Europe including The Juilliard School, Texas State University, UC-Irvine, UNCSA, TAPS in Las Vegas and UNR in Reno, among others. As a director and choreographer, Adam served on the creative teams for national tours, Lincoln Center, network television, regional theater and opera, and the award-winning Broadway musicals A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder, Anastasia, and Anything Goes. He is the author of the best-selling guidebook for young performers The Business of Show.

Angelina Vera, MD, is a board certified, orthopedic surgeon fellowship-trained in sports medicine, arthroscopy, and the treatment of injuries to the hip, knee, ankle and shoulder. She provides expert care to her patients by using the latest advanced treatments and minimally invasive techniques to speed recovery. She is dedicated to the prevention and management of sport and dance related injuries. She has a particular interest in hip pathology, anatomic variances, and genetics as they relate to the dancer. Dr. Vera has presented her research at multiple national and international conferences and authored several peer-reviewed publications.
Dr. Vera earned her bachelor’s degree in Sports Injury Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She worked as a professional dancer, instructor, and choreographer for over 10 years before, during, and after her undergraduate career. She subsequently attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine for her medical doctorate (M.D.). She completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital and completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona.
During her time in Houston, Dr. Vera worked with the Houston Ballet, Houston Astros, and Rice University track and football teams. While in Arizona she worked with the Arizona State University athletes during their 2020-2021 season. She is a fellow of The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. She is a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science, Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and The Arthroscopy Association of North American.
Anthony Tabor PT, DPT is a Physical Therapist and Director of Operations at Origin Physical Therapy in Las Vegas, NV.
Anthony is a native of Henderson, and has been practicing in the Vegas Valley for 11 years. Being from here, he is passionate about rehabilitating the community in which he was raised, and in turn, is raising his family. Anthony attended the University of Nevada, Reno, for his Bachelor of Science in Public Health before receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro University of Nevada. Since 2012, Anthony has been practicing in the Las Vegas Valley rehabilitating various athletes including: UFC, NFL, NBA, MLB, PGA, NHL, Cirque and Spiegelworld. He has an educated understanding that patients with physical careers need specialized care and treatment plans to return to functional independence.

Gina Tulimero is a born-and-raised Las Vegas local who grew up doing competitive gymnastics. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of San Diego in 2009 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro University Nevada in 2013. Gina worked in an outpatient orthopedic clinic for 10 years, treating various musculoskeletal diagnoses with patients of all ages. She was an adjunct professor at TUN for 5 years before becoming full time faculty in August 2023. Her teaching responsibilities include Therapeutic Interventions I and Functional Anatomy, and she is the secondary instructor for all orthopedic courses. Gina is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Education. As a professional member of USA Gymnastics, she participates in multiple gymnastics camps each year here in Las Vegas, where she organizes workshops to teach gymnasts and coaches about injury prevention in female gymnasts. Gina is excited to be part of Healthy Performers NV!
Dolly Kelepecz has been a member of the dance faculty since 1983. Her first
love is teaching ballet and Pilates. She was a professional dancer for more
than 30 years, and currently provides the educational materials for Pilates
studios around the world including Japan, Mexico, and Korea. She has
published a Pilates book in both Korean and Japanese that is in its third
printing and includes an instructional DVD.
Kelepecz has developed the Pilates program for the dance department and
has also developed a Pilates certification program and a minor degree. She
had her own television show that aired five days a week in Las Vegas
called Healthy Lifestyles and has produced seven Pilates DVDs for the U.S.
Market.
Dolly Kelepecz was born in Southern Ca. and is now Senior Faculty and
a Professor of Ballet and Pilates at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Dolly started teaching Pilates in 1987 after receiving her certification at
St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco CA. Her teachers were
Eve Gentry and Liz Larkam. She created her own Pilates method in
1997 and it is now known nationally, internationally, as well as being
the accredited Pilates Certification at the University of Nevada, Las
Vegas. Other alternative methods of Body Awareness studied by Dolly,
that have affected Dolly’s Pilates method are, Gyrotonic, Artforms,
Feldenkrais, and Alexander technique. She also created, the
Educational program for the Pelvic Floor Pole. This device was created
by, “Stretchpole”, in Japan. The deep dive into these alternative
methods has kept Dolly’s method, DK Body Balancing Method, true to
the deep “Mind Body Connection” that Pilates was meant to explore.
